✨ World’s Longest City Name​

Bangkok's full ceremonial name has 169 letters: Krung Thep Maha Nakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara… (and so on!). Locals just call it Krung Thep, meaning “City of Angels.”

🛖 Floating Village Life

Koh Panyi, in Phang Nga Bay, is home to entire fishing communities built on stilts and floating platforms. Life here takes place entirely over the sea, complete with houses, schools, mosques, and even a floating football pitch.

🛕Golden Buddha

Bangkok’s Wat Traimit houses the Golden Buddha, weighing 5.5 tons of pure gold. For years, it was hidden under plaster to protect it from invaders.
